Whoever casted the two was clearly an only child, because these two actors have ridiculous sexual tension and chemistry on screen. And some of their scenes are clearly not-so-innocent. Yeah, they’re stepsiblings, but that doesn’t mean a romantic consequence is impossible. They bicker, yes, but there’s something underlying it all that makes us Dasey fans question the legitimacy of their “sibling rivalry”. It’s the way he helps her get a cell phone in “The Poxfather” and the way they bond in the bathroom in “The Party”. How he gets terribly upset that his best friend seems to have a crush on his “stepsister”. How she gets all happy and giddy when he actually does something nice for her and their family. I mean, he comes to rescue her to take her to Junior Prom. And she’s happy as hell and they look so damn great together. I mean “Summer School Blues”. Come on! And when he quits his job and says, “Nobody talks to my stepsister like that! Except me.” It’s there. I don’t care what anyone says. It’s there.
