I really liked her until they drove her character into a ditch. Like comparatively, her character was an 18 wheeler and the ditch was the Grand Canyon.

I think at the end of series 2, they panicked ‘cuz they were out of villainous magic users to use to drive the plot of everyone is evil vs. Merlin so they decided that Morgana being evil would be interesting so who the hell needs a coherent development from troubled oppressed female magic-user to an antagonist with sympathetic motives and goals?

Silly.

Also the writers pitted Morgana and Gwen against one another and I was not down with that at all. Like if Morgana’s development made no sense, Morgana vs. Gwen made even less sense.
